Islam is the religion of Muslims.
Fundamentals of Islam:
1. Firm Belif in KALIMA TAY_YIBAH.
2. Saying Prayers 5 time a day. 3. To pay ZAKAT (alms) once in a year.
4. Performing HAJJ (pilgrimage), at least once in life if affords.
5. Observing FASTS in the Holy month of Ramadan.
Fundamental principles of Islam are:
1. Belief in God's Oneness.
2. Belief in Prophet hood.
3. Belief in hereafter.
4. Belief in Angels.
5. Belief in Angles.
Who is Kaffir?
One who does not believe in any one of the fundamentals of Islam is Considered Kafir.
Mubah
A Mubah is an act which nether bears reward nor attracts punishment.
Sunnah It is the words precepts of the Holy Prophet (peace be upon him).
Nawafil
Means those act which have been confirmed in Shariah worth virtues.
If one manages to do these acts will attract reward from Allah, but failure to do them will get no punishment to him.
Qibla
It is the direction that must be faced during Salat (Prayer). The Qiblah
of Muslims is Ka'abah. Ka'abah is the house of Allah, situated in the Holy city of Makkah in Saudi Arabia.
Fiqha
Hadith means a news of peace, a report of an event or a tale. In Islam it is the report of the words & deeds of the Holy Prophet (Peace Be Upon Him). Fiqha means to understand the Divine code of life. In Islam it is a name given to Islamic jurisprudence.
Sahabi (Companion)
A Muslim who had seen the Holy Prophet (Peace Be Upon Him) died as
Muslim known as a Sahabi (companion).
Caliph
The head of Islamic state who governs the state according to the
Islamic Shari'ah or one who succeeded the Holy Prophet (Peace be Upon Him) as head of Islamic Commonwealth is called Caliph.
Shirk (Polytheism)
It means to make someone partner in Allah's Being or Attributes. By making someone partner in Allah's being means to believe in two or more gods partnership in Attributes means to ascribe Allah's attributes to some other beings either Angles, Prophets, Martyrs, Saints, Spiritual Leaders can have no Attributes special to Allah. It is the second greatest sin after Kufr one who commits it will never enter Paradise.
EID
It is a chief festival of Islam. The Muslim celebrate 2 such festival in one year namely Eid-ul-Fitr & Eid-ul-Adha. Eidul-Fitr is celebrated the very next day after the Holy Month of Ramadan comes to its end while Eid-ul-Adha is cele--brated on the 10th of Zul Hajj to commemorate the act of the Prophet Ibrahim (Peace Be Upon Him) who offered his son Hazrat Ismail (Peace Be Upon Him) for scarify before Allah in response to Allah's command but a ram substituted Hazrat Ismail (Peace Be Upon Him) by Allah's command.
ABD
One (literally Slave) who acts according to the will of Allah (God).
Infaq
It means spending wealth for the for the cause of Allah (God).
Tauhid
The belief in the Oneness of Allah (God).
Shri'Ah
Islamic code of life.
Talbiyah
The words , pronuced loudly by the Hajis while performing Hajj are called Talbiyah, those words follows "Here I am present, O My Allah, I am present, I am present. There is no partner unto thee. I am present. Verily all praise is due to thee. Every boon is Thine & Thine is the entire Sovereignty. No one is Thine partner."
Ramadan
A Muslim who has firm belief in Allah & His Messenger Hazrat Muhammad (Peace Be Upon Him) & tries to live within the limits prescribed by Shari'ah is called MominIt is the 9th Islamic month in which the Muslims observe commanded fasts. The revelation of the Holy Quran was also started in this Month of Ramadan.
Salat (Prayer) was made obligatory on Shabe Miraj, 12th Nabavi.
There are five prayers in a day night these are:
1. Fajr : It is performed in the morning before the sunrise.
2. Zuhr : It is performed in the afternoon, after the sun has started
declining.
3. Asr : It is said one-&-a-half or two hours before the sunset.
4. Maghrib : It is performed just after the sunset.
5. Isha : It is offered in the night, one half or two hours after the Mughrib.
AZAN
AZAN means call out. It is an Islamic system to call the prayer. As the time of SALAT (prayers) reaches, a person stands up calls out these words loudly.

Dua-A-Qunut
The Qunut (Obeisance) is recited in the prayers of Witr. The text of Qunut is as follows O, Allah lead me to the path of righteousness (by including me in the fold) of those whom. Thou hast led to this path; pardon me (by including me) among those whom Thou hast helped; shower blessings on whatever Thou hast bestowed on me; take me under thy protection from the evil of whatever thou hast destined since it is Thee who decideth & determineth, none having the power of determining anything contrary to Thy decisions No Ignominy can approach him who thou helpst no honor can come to one to whom Thou art hostile. Glory is to Thee who art our nourisher sustainer; lofty is Thy throne. We seek Thy Pardon & return to Thy fold. O Allah, shower Thy blessings on Thy (last) Massenger (Muhammad,) Peace Be Upon Him).
